Find The Right Nail Shape

Although the shape of the nail is usually chosen according to what we like the most - there are some rules that dictate which nail shape suits best on the individual fingers and hands.

People often judge us by the first impression. A part of it are beautiful and well-kept nails, because it is very important to take care of them. However, it is important to choose the shape of nails, because, in fact, some forms of the nails are better suited for certain fingers and hands. Although the choice of nail shape is a matter of personal preference and style, there are some things that every woman should know and consider before deciding to rectangular or oval nails.

Well-chosen shape of the nail will help your fingers, and palms look nicer and more refined, and this in turn can increase confidence. There are four main types of nail shapes: round, square, oval and stiletto (needle).

Generally speaking, the shape of the nail should look like a thin skin at the base of the nail. Another guideline is to pay attention to the shape of your fingers. Check the form that best suits you:

Oval - looks good on most fingers, especially on short and wide fingers. This form gives the illusion of length, which is great for shorter fingers. This sleek, modern shape always looks great on any woman.

Round - perfect for short nails and those with very active hands, because there are less chance of rupture.

Square - this is as good as a form of balance for long and narrow fingers.

A square with rounded edges - this form looks good on short, wide or long fingers.

Almond / Stiletto (sharpened) - elongate small fingers and small palms. Although it still seems a bit strange - this is a very popular look for your nails.

Here you can find out how to shape your nails and positive and negative sides of each looks:

1. Flat nail with an oval tip - leave the nail to grow straight in length and make it oval in the middle. This shape provides maximum support for the nails and are less likely to rupture. Also, if it breaks you can simply put it in an oval shape.

2. Oval - begin to shape the nail into an oval shape from the beginning where the nail separates from the meat. This form somewhat weakens the nails and is ideal for strong or broad nails because it gives a bit more delicate feel.
3. Rectangular-oval - use the same technique as in an oval shape - just at the end do a square.

4. Round - an ideal format for shorter nails. A nail can grow up to 1.5 mm on the sides and then make it round. This is a powerful form that will be resistant to most of the challenges - cleaning, typing all day ...

5. Square - leave the nail to grow straight in length, and then put it in square at the sides. This is also quite "strong" form of the nails. However, square nails can make your hands look shorter and fatter.

6. A square with rounded edges - as in a rectangular shape, only on the end slightly put round corners. This is a softer variation of a rectangular shape. Flattering look on most of the nail ...

7. Almond - This is a similar shape to oval nails but the end is much narrower. This form is usually not very strong and nails often break - and when that happens you will not be able to fix it but you'll need to shape into an oval shape. The same goes with sharp, stiletto shape - which is more tapered at the top. If you want this form, please go to the nail salon, because they are strong enough to withstand the daily challenges and at the same time remain intact.

Stiletto Nails

For some time, I am completely thrilled with stiletto nails that are currently a big hit. I tried it and now I proudly wear this trend!

This picture above is responsible for my style selections this spring. Nude and beige-pink, fiery red in combination with a pale pink, natural makeup, big rings in the form of roses, flower patterns on the clothes ... and stiletto nails!

Stiletto nails have recently become a big trend among the many stars Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Fergie, Beyonce, Katy Perry ...

It is a pointed nail that can carry the colors of nude beige, flesh-colored, lilac, rose up to gold and black. Although the classic stiletto nails are much longer, very tense, and decorated with images that are real small art works, today are popular short, a monochrome version of the stiletto nails which I tried.

I must say I am extremely satisfied with the result, which to me is that I'm a big perfectionist almost unbelievable. This length is amazing, but I like to wear a little shorter. Personally, I like this kind of nails and I have bought lots of nail polishes in beige, pink, coral and violet that I think look beautiful on stiletto nails, and I will definitely show you later how it looks.

Pink Polka Dots Manicure

To create this very simple manicure, you need a base lacquer, nail polish in the color of your choice, white French manicure nail polish and nail polish top coat.

After the base lacquer, apply two coats of nail polish in desired color. I have used China Glaze, Nasty nail polish.

Then with a toothpick draw the dots using white nail polish. Try to arrange them evenly.

In the end, when the dots are dry, apply top coat nail polish that will alleviate the transitions. I've decided on China glaze in Fairy Dust, which I love.

This is nail polish with a tiny, holographic glitter, which looks especially nice in the sun.

Instead of the entire nail, the dots can concentrate just on top or play with a combination of smaller and larger dots. There are countless possibilities to play around.

Stars With a Modern Medium Length Hair

Diversity is the key word this season when the hair is in question, but also in general when it comes to styling.

Therefore, if you want to strengthen your fashion reputation change your hairstyle. You can reshape your short hair and allow to grow or shorten the long hair and medium length. Medium length hair is ideal for those who like to change hairstyles.

Curly Vs. Straight Hair

Most of us first notice the hair and face on other people. If you have the perfect makeup, and dry and damaged hair, it will certainly overshadow your pretty face in the negative way.

Long hair, short, semi-long, curly, straight ... Unfortunately, we cannot choose our hair. It is natural as it should be, and our choice is whether we will curl it, iron, color it ...

In this article, I will single out two types of hair: curly and straight.

Straight hair:

The positive side of straight hair are that you can wear your hair literally in every way (tied in a pony tail, plait ...). Straight hair looks much shinier and healthier than curly, because it is on a flat surface, which, logically, more reflects light. Straight hair is easier to maintain. It doesn't require products such as foam, gel ... Of course, serum is good for ends on straight hair. It should be noted that straight hair looks longer than curly.

Disadvantages are that straight hair sometimes becomes monotonous, eager for change. Of course, there are numerous techniques by which you can turn a straight hair into curly or wavy (Figaro, curlers, clothes ...), even if only short term.

Curly hair:

According to research, there is a smaller percentage of people who have curly hair than those with straight hair. Curly hair requires a lot more care than straight hair because it is prone to drying and tear, split ends, braking ... It is harder to comb this hair when it is dry. Of course, not impossible, but after a long and painful combing it will look ten times worse. It can only be combed while is wet, with conditioner or spray for combining. If you still long for straight hair, the only way to do that is iron, or at best blow dry. Due to high temperatures both types of hair straightening are harmful, especially iron.

This hair never looks dull. The fact is that curly hair is limited for creating hairstyles, but this hair is in itself sufficient beauty. Therefore, if you are the owner of curly hair, do not use iron very often, because you will make great damage and later, it won't look nice even when it is curly, it will be damaged. Therefore - you wear your hair as it is, nourish it and don't damage it with iron.

Curly vs. straight hair

We conclude that both types of hair have their good and bad sides. We just have to point out the good, nourish our hair and wear it proudly as it is. Maybe you will discover what kind of hair looks "better" on the following photos:

Color-treated Hair Help

In order to be shiny and healthy, long and colored hair requires special care. You can create your own hair conditioner who will help your hair.

Of course, it is much easier and quicker to purchase products, but today, when you need to take account of every penny, it's not bad to save some money.

Hops for black hair

Black hair sometimes looks too matte, so you should use preparations that will restore the luster of your hair. Liven up your hair with semi-permanent color and use a regular conditioner. Once a month, make a mask, specifically for black hair.
Mix two tablespoons of beer with half a liter of water. Apply the mixture on your hair and leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse with water to avoid the characteristic odor. This mix increases volume and shine.

Chamomile for blonds

Blond hair color should be given the most attention. Blond is quickly washed and hair often takes on a yellowish or greenish tint. Once a week rinse your hair in chamomile tea. This will regenerate your hair and give it volume. Cover a fistful of fresh chamomile with a pint of hot water. Wait 10 minutes, then strain tea. After washing your hair with tea, rinse it in water.

Coffee for brunette

For bright brown hair coffee is the best. Cook two ounces of coffee, cool it and mix with one egg. Rub the mixture on dry hair, wrap head in foil. Leave on for 20 minutes and rinse.

Henna for red hair

Red color is the hardest to take care off because it washes the fastest, so you should pay careful attention to maintaining the color. Henna is an excellent solution for it. Mix it with water and leave on for 40 minutes. Then rinse well. Use this one a month.
